You know what they say... the smaller the town, the bigger the gator! Or at least they should say that.

If we had a dollar for every time we heard about a massive alligator terrorizing the good people of the south, I think we'd be pretty darn close to retirement status by now. Whether real or fabricated, we hear gator stories constantly and the gators tend to get bigger and bigger with each telling. Of course, I'm only poking fun. Coming across an alligator is something serious that does happen.

Like recently in East Texas.

Earlier this month, a video was posted on YouTube of a father-son duo wrangling a 10-foot gator. It happened in the small town of Hawkins, Texas. Population 1,299 + one gator. The video is simply titled "Roping An Alligator in East Texas." Need we say more? Actually we probably should say more, like please don't try this at home, kids!
