"300: Rise of an Empire" easily rolled over the competition at the box office this weekend, taking in an estimated $45 million.

Animated family film "Mr. Peabody & Sherman" debuted in second place with $32.5 million, and last week's No. 1, "Non-Stop" starring Liam Neeson, dropped down to third place with $15.3 million.
