50 Cent Apologizes For Mocking Disabled Airport Worker
After posting a video where he made fun of an airport employee he assumed was "high", rapper 50 Cent has made an apology.
The rapper posted a now-deleted video where he mocked 19-year-old Andrew Farrell for being "high as a motherf*****." Farrell is autistic and suffers from social anxiety and a severe hearing loss.
50's apology was posted by the New York Post and read, "It was certainly not my intent to insult him or the disability community, which is a source of great strength in America. I have apologized personally to him and his family."
He added, "While the incident at the airport resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding, I am truly sorry for offending the young man."
TMZ reports that Farrell's family was considering filing suit against the rapper, but a rep says they'll settle for 50's apology.
