First Day Jitters

Wow what a first day! I know I give Carter a hard time, but he really is cool to work with. If you tell him that I said that, I will call you a liar to your face!

With the first-day Jitters out of the way I'm pretty confident we won't burn the building down tomorrow, I mean after all they didn't lock us out and that's got to count for something!

All kidding aside, it is super sweet to be working with people who know what they're doing, or at least can pretend like they know what they're doing. The entire staff of not just our radio station but all of the radio stations around us has been fantastic. Now I'm going to have to take down some of the stuff I wrote about them in the men's restroom. Thank goodness I didn't use permanent marker.

I know that we talk a big game about wanting to help the community and wanting to work for local charities, but it really is our goal to change the Shreveport-Bossier City area for the better. We know we can't do it without you, so please reach out to us in any way you can, and let us know where we need to be.

We've been asked a lot why we are so passionate about caring for underserved charitable organizations in our area. The real question is why isn't every other media organization in our city doing their best in this arena?
