One of my fondest memories of Holiday in Dixie was during my sophomore year of high school at Haughton High. I had been invited to the Airline prom and for some reason I thought that made me extra cool or something! The dance was at the University Club, high atop the American Tower in downtown Shreveport.

Not every great college basketball team wins the NCAA tournament. Some incredible college teams have suffered heartbreaking losses only to win the NCAA tournament title the following year (1973 North Carolina State, 1975 Indiana, 1982 Georgetown). Other championship teams have lost in an attempt at repeating (1961 Ohio State, 1985 Georgetown, 1991 UNLV, 1997 Kentucky).

You have to remember Matthew Davidson from Kidd Kraddick's Rock Camp last Summer! He was clearly the most talented of the group! I'm only a little biased since he's from the SBC and because he along with his family and his band have become such close friends of the station. Matthew and his cohorts have struck again and this time, they're helping out at Sutton Children's Hospital! You guys ROCK!

You remember Matthew Davidson. He was the 13 year old Caddo Middle Magnet student who won his way on to Kidd Kraddick in the Morning's Rock Camp this past Summer.
