If you thought Adam Lambert's forearm tattoo was big, check out his brand new ink, which covers his entire shoulder. Lambert's followers on Twitter and Instagram were the first to see the tattoo, which was unveiled this morning (Nov. 27) and appears to depict a horned human face breathing fire or wind.

To Lambert, the image's meaning goes far behind that superficial description. He tweeted the helpful explanation, "It represents my Astrological Birth Chart, along with Pagan, Buddhist, and Greco- Roman Archetypes related to balance and the life cycle. My chart is AQUARIUS Sun, Libra Rising, Aries Moon. All three are represented."

We're glad Lambert feels such a strong connection to the ink, because you don't want to get a such a large tattoo without first putting a lot of thought into it. Lambert's arms are now almost full of ink. In August, he revealed a large forearm tattoo in Latin that translates as, "music soothes the wild beast."

Glamberts will next see the 'Never Close Our Eyes' singer when he hosts VH1 Divas on Dec. 16. What do you think of Adam's latest ink? Too flashy, or a work of art?
