Former Culture Club lead singer Boy George thinks he can save Adele from any future voice problems. The singer has had to cancel several shows this year due to recurring vocal issues, and recently underwent surgery to mend a bleeding throat polyp. But in an interview with the British newspaper The Daily Mirror, Boy George suggests she kick the nicotine habit just as he did six months ago.

George called quitting smoking  "the best thing I ever did," and when you take into consideration the fact that he's struggled with even deadlier addictions such as heroin, that's really saying a lot.

He continued, "If you're a singer and you smoke it really isn't a great idea. I used to try to convince myself it made me sound jazzier. It was very difficult to give up, but I'm so glad I did."
