We adore Hayley Williams for her powerful voice and hair that is equally as loud! It's no wonder we've crowned her colorful locks with the title of Woman Crush Wednesday.

On December 27, 1988, Hayley Nichole Williams was born in Meridian, Mississippi, the oldest of three girls. After her parents divorced in 2002, Williams set off for Franklin, Tennessee. That's where she met Josh and Zac Farro, who would later become her bandmates in Paramore. She also met Jeremy Davis while trying out for a local funk cover band called The Factory.

While writing pop songs with various songwriters in Nashville, Williams was discovered in 2003 by managers Dave Steunebrink and Richard Williams who signed her to a two-year production deal. She was just 14 years old at the time. Her managers' attornies introduced her to Tom Storms of Atlantic Records who signed her to the label. The original plan was to promote Williams as a solo artist, but she insisted on being part of a band.

Thus, Paramore was born. The band's pop punk feel was not suited for a big label name so they were signed on to a "cooler" name, Fueled by Ramen. Their debut album All We Know Is Falling came out in 2005, when Williams was 15. Despite being a part of a band, Williams did much work as a solo artist, writing and recording songs like "Misery Business" and "Teenagers." She also appeared on other artist's songs like "Airplanes" with B.o.B.

The boys of Paramore felt a little odd about Williams being their lead singer because she is a female but after working with her, they knew it was the way to go. As a band they have released three other albums after their debut; Riot!, Brand New Eyes, and Paramore. The latter was released in April 2013 and featured songs like "Now", "Still Into You" and "Ain't It Fun." In addition they have put out two live albums and three EPs.

Most recently, Williams has put out her own line of makeup with MAC Cosmetics. She also collaborated with Zedd on the song "Stay the Night."

Personal Life

Williams is extremely comfortable in her faith and discusses it regularly in relation to her music. The Farro brothers who eventually left the band Paramore cited this as one of the reasons they left the band.

She is currently in a relationship with New Found Glory's lead guitarist Chad Gilbert. The two have been dating since 2008. Paramore and New Found Glory toured together in 2007, and it appears that sparks may have been flying during that time. It is rumored Williams also dated former bandmate Josh Farro for three years prior to meeting Gilbert. Maybe the breakup was another reason he decided to leave the band.

Williams is also known for her outrageous hair. We've lost track of how many different colors, cuts, and styles she's done. She sure knows how to pull them off though, doesn't she?
