The relief effort that's going on in South Texas right now is nothing short than a testament of mans brotherhood.  If you've been driving around anywhere in the Ark-La-Tex over the past couple of days, you've likely seen a caravan of lifted trucks pulling boats headed for the Lone Star State.  The amount of help barreling towards the Houston area is just as astounding as the power of the hurricane that caused this mess in the first police.

Using a boat for rescues in a flooded city is not as simple as taking your flat bottom out fishing.  The currents are all over the place, it can be difficult to see the debris (like cars, houses, and airplanes) lurking just below the surface, not to mention the stress of taking on the job of rescuing stranded by the rapidly rising water.  There are literally lives on the line!  For those reasons, the enigmatic Air Boat is one of the most perfect rescue craft in these situations.  The downside?  They need a lot of fuel.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with the costs of that fuel, so that these rescue efforts continue without pause.  It was organized by the owner/operator of the World of Khoas Thrill Park in East Texas - Charles Cox, and the goal is to cobble together the $3,000 needed to fuel the boats in the short term.  If you can help, please do so.
