This was very interesting to me, but I guess i can understand the results.

PR Newswire found that nearly half of the adult population wishes they could wear a plain ol' boring unorm to work every day.

Personally, I would hate to wear uniforms, but only because I'm only 8 years out of high school and the thought of wearing a uniform again makes my skin crawl.

It does make sense, though, that 48% of Americans would prefer a uniform instead of having to pick out an entire outfit every morning. I get it, we're all strapped for time and we're always lookign for ways to get more out of every day.

The study went in-depth into wardrobe at the work place. If uniforms are off the table, the majority of us prefer a causal dress code. 20% said very casual, like jeans and a t-shirt, while 36% said somewhat casual. 28% said somewhat formal, and only 16% said very formal, like a suit-and-tie or a pantsuit.
