Police in Los Angeles are looking into a minor car accident involving actress Amanda Bynes after a report from a witness who says the actress left the scene of the accident without providing her information.

Lt. Andy Neiman of the LAPD said Sunday that Bynes briefly stopped after the accident and checked the other vehicle and determined that there was no damage. Police say she then drove off without leaving her information, which is mandatory according to the law.

No one was injured in the accident and $800 worth of damage was done to the other vehicle.

The case will be turned over to the city attorney's office for review, according to police.
