Ben Woolf, best known for his role as Meep on "American Horror Story: Freak Show", died Monday at the age of 34 of a head injury he sustained last week.

Woolf, who stood four feet four inches tall, was struck by the mirror of a passing car Thursday night while crossing a street in Hollywood. He was then taken to a nearby hospital where he remained in critical condition until his death.

TMZ, which was the first to report on his death, says that Woolf died at Cedars Sinai hospital after suffering a stroke.

"Ben was one-of-a-kind, and will never be forgotten," Woolf's rep said in a statement to E! News. "The time we all shared together will be remembered forever."

Woolf's family also issued a statement which read, "We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben. He touched so many hearts in his 34 years. His memory will live on within each of us and within his work."
