Yet another reason to love Amy Adams...

The Oscar-nominated actress was at a Detroit airport Friday when she saw a uniformed soldier at her gate who was riding coach and gave him her seat in first class.

The good deed was witnessed by Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN's "Numbers Never Lie", who tweeted, "Just saw actress Amy Adams do something incredibly classy. She gave her 1st class seat to an American soldier. I'm an even bigger fan now."

She added, "I don't think he knows she did it."

Hill later told ABC News, "As I was getting seated, I saw the flight attendant guide the soldier to Ms. Adams' seat. She was no longer in it, but it was pretty clear that she'd given up her seat for him. I was incredibly impressed."

Hill also said that Adams enjoyed a brief chat with the soldier by the cockpit before returning to her seat in coach. "[She] did it so quietly and quickly that it speaks to her character," said Hill. "And somebody in coach just got a helluva seatmate."
