‘Anchorman 2′ Gets Own Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Flavor
Ice cream makers Ben & Jerry's have teamed up with Paramount Pictures to promote the upcoming "Anchorman 2" by launching the limited-edition flavor "Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch", the studio announced Tuesday.
The new flavor will consist of butterscotch ice cream with ribbons of butterscotch swirl.
Ron Burgundy himself has given the flavor a big thumbs-up, saying, "Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch is a delicious ice cream and I hope Ben and Jerry consider my other suggestions. Malt liquor marshmallow, well liquor bourbon peanut butter, and cheap white wine sherbet."
B&J's officially rolled out the new flavor for members of the press at New York's Pier 36, featuring a performance by Nutty the Waterskiing Squirrel, and a Ben & Jerry's ice cream truck remodeled to look like a Channel 4 news truck packed with Ron Burgundy lookalikes.
"Anchorman 2", starring Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, comes to theaters December 20.
