This is just one more reason to love GLEE!!! Anne is genius. She cornered the Glee guy at the Golden Globes and pitched her appearance on the show. She even had her character already made up. You know this is going to be comedy gold!

The Golden Globe Awards isn't just a night of drinking, recognitions and Ricky Gervais' ascerbic wit. It's also a time for stars to wheel and deal, apparently.

"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy tells People at the awards show, "We just finalized a deal with Anne [Hathaway] tonight to come onto the show. She's already created [her role]. She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt."

Murphy also says that Hathaway wasn't the only star to pitch to him at the Golden Globes. "They always do," he says. "I can't even think of who. But it's so sweet. I think they support the show because it's about the arts."

"Glee" took home the most hardware of any television show and was only bested in the overall award total by "The Social Network." It won the Best Comedy or Musical award for the second year in a row and Colfer and Jane Lynch each won in the supporting category.

Hathaway will join an illustrious group indeed of "Glee" guest stars, including Carol Burnett, Neil Patrick Harris and Gwyneth Paltrow. Do you think there will be a number for Kurt and his aunt?
