"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" held on to the top spot in this weekend's box office for the second week in  a row, taking in an estimated $36 million.

"The Purge: Anarchy" debuted in second place with $28.3 million, and the animated "Planes: Fire and Rescue" came in third with $18 million. "Sex Tape", the raunchy comedy starring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel, finished at a disappointing fourth place with $15 million.
