Lecturer and writer Lisa Cooper talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert Wright and Erin McCarty about the sexualization of American culture, specifically our nation's teenage girls.

Cooper, who speaks on sexuality to high school girls, college age females, their mothers and even dads, tells listeners that "girls are taught that their sexuality is the center of who they are." She continues, " The world of secular culture says 'your power lies in how you give your sexuality away. Have as much sex as you want, or as little sex as you want. But your power lies in how you choose to give it away.'"

Cooper's interview comes on the heels of the arrest of five Caddo Parish teens for sexting explicit photos.
