Joe Paterno was the coach of Penn State for 46 years but was just fired for covering up sexual abuse by the school’s former football defense coordinator, Jerry Sandusky. Ashton Kutcher started weighing in on Twitter and said, ‘How do you fire Jo Pa? As a hawkeye fan, I find it in poor taste’ and hashtagged insult and no class. Ashton and his wife Demi founded the DNA foundation in hopes to end child slavery and he immediately started getting attacked on twitter. Followers were saying things like ‘You’re against child trafficking unless it’s with college football staff?’ Ashton later tweeted ‘I just heard Paterno was getting fired. Getting the rest of the story now. Fully recant the previous tweet because I didn’t have the full story.’ Then he really tried to do some damage patrol by saying that he would be taking a hiatus from twitter for awhile. He tweeted, 'As an advocate in the fight against child sexual exploitation, I could not be more remorseful for all involved in the Penn St. case. As of immediately I will stop tweeting until I find a way to properly manage this feed. I feel awful about this error. Won't happen again.'
