The Rock Goes After a Shark in Full ‘Ballers’ Season 2 Trailer

Sure, HBO’s Ballers may seem like a sportier Entourage (with the same producing team behind it), but who couldn’t use more Dwayne Johnson in their lives? The full season 2 trailer has arrived ahead of its July premiere, as minnows Spence and Joe take their business up against a shark like Andy Garcia.

We’ve seen a few sneak peeks before the July 17 premiere, though HBO now closes a deal for the full Season 2 trailer. In it, Andy Garcia emerges as Andre, a high-profile financier and nemesis to Spencer Strassmore (Johnson) as he and Joe (Corddry) attempt to keep their new business afloat.

Produced by Johnson and Entourage heads Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson, half-hour dramedy Ballers follows the lives of Miami-based active and retired athletes, Johnson among them. The series also stars Hot Tub Time Machine traveler Rob Corddry, Omar Benson Miller, John David Washington, Troy Garity, Donovan Carter, Jazmyn Simon, Taylor Cole and LeToya Luckett.
