A week ago today, Billy Bush was probably on top of the world. The well-known radio & television host had just recently began working as host of Today's third hour on NBC. Now, just a week later, things have gone into what appears to be a never-ending downward spiral.

News broke Sunday night that Bush, cousin to George W. Bush, has been suspended indefinitely for his involvement with the Donald Trump tape from 2005.

In that tape, not only do you hear Donald Trump say disgusting things about women, but you also hear the NBC host say nasty things as well, and you even see Bush basically force the woman (who they had just been talking about) to hug both Donald and himself.

That's a bad look for not only Billy, but also NBC, so the network simply had to do exactly what it did. The suspension is being described as "indefinite, pending further review."

On Today this morning, the morning show acknowledged Billy's absence saying, "We want to note one other thing: Pending further review of the matter, NBC News has suspended Billy Bush, for his role in the conversation with Donald Trump."
