Bossier deputies, along with two local kids, will be at Chick-Fil-A at I-220 and Airline Dr. raising awareness for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and also much needed funds to help children with muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular diseases so they can attend MDA Summer Camp. And one Bossier deputy, Lt. Bill Davis, will be "locked up" until those funds are raised.

It's all happening Friday, September 16th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Even though he knows he's a wanted man, Lt. Bill Davis sent us a press release to let us know how it's all going down:

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington assisted MDA “Lock Up” to put out an “arrest warrant” for one of his very own deputies, Lt. Bill Davis, who will be arrested on Sept. 22 and “locked” up at the Texas Roadhouse in Bossier City. He needs bail money to get out of jail, and that money will go to help children like 5-year-old Davlin and 7-year-old Chris be able to attend MDA Summer Camp.

Come on out and meet Davlin and Chris and help support MDA. Deputy Casey Fradella and his K-9 partner, “Ace” the bloodhound, will also be there.

You can donate to the cause by visiting http://bit.ly/2bW58PA, or by calling the Shreveport MDA office at 742-3632. Make checks payable to: MDA.
