Brandon Reads “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas”

It has been a Morning Madhouse tradition since the first Christmas we spent together.  We were at the Jocks In The Box Toy Drive, and had a few kids there at the same time.  Someone had a copy of 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, and magic happened.  We gathered all of the kids and families that were donating toys to the less fortunate.  We nestled close to a tiny, outdoor heater that was miraculously warm enough for all of us and settled down to enjoy this Christmas Classic.  I know that I appreciated the holiday in a very different way after that.  Seeing everyone gathered around, helping out their community, and enjoying the spirit of the season, really brought home the fact that the whole celebration has nothing to do with the presents under the tree.  It's the presents we already have that count the most.
