After several tumultuous years, it seems 2011 has been very good to Britney Spears. As an example, the pop-diva looks to be in fine form in the October issue of UK’s edition of Glamour, on newsstands September 8.

The cover features Spears in a glittery, feather-adorned mini-dress, while the sexy shots inside reveal that while she may have had two children, all the hours she’s logged in the gym to get her famous figure back have clearly paid off.

In the story that accompanies the photos, Spears says she’s not afraid of turning 30 this December, and that the 2008 public meltdown that caused her father to ultimately take over her finances in a court-ordered conservatorship is nothing but a distant memory for her now. These days, she’s happy, healthy, and planning a big party for her upcoming milestone birthday.

“I think the older you get, the wiser you get,” she said. “I can’t wait. I’m really excited and definitely gonna celebrate and do something spectacular. I’m gonna be in South America so I’ll have to do something pretty fun. A carnival of Britney?”

With her personal and professional life on track — Spears has a thriving two-year relationship with talent agent Jason Trawick, and her seventh studio album, this year’s ‘Femme Fatale,’ is her first to yield three top 10 singles in the United States — the singer certainly has a lot to celebrate.
