Britney Spears Injures Ankle During Vegas Performance [VIDEO]

Britney Spears took a pretty nasty onstage tumble during her performance Wednesday at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

Spears was performing her hit "(You Drive Me) Crazy" when one of her heels gave way and she fell, twisting her ankle, as seen in the video below. The show did go on, but the injury forced the 33-year-old singer to reschedule some shows.

"Breaks my heart to share this news," Spears posted on Instagram Thursday evening. "After hurting my ankle last night my doctor has advised me not to perform this weekend."

She continued, "Your kind words mean everything to me! I'm rescheduling this weekend's shows and will let y'all know when we have the new dates. xoxo"
