Caddo Parish Animal Control Director Placed on Leave

Caddo Parish's Animal Control Director has been placed on paid leave.

Caddo Parish Commissioners confirm that Everett Harris was placed on leave by Administrator, Dr. Woody Wilson.

A third party has been called in to investigate the department and recent posts on the agency's Facebook page which has caused an outcry in the community.

Local residents and several Caddo Commissioners have called for Harris to resign.

We have reached out to Wilson and Harris, but our calls have not been returned.
