Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator will promote three deputies during a 9 a.m. ceremony April 21, 2015, at the Sheriff's Re-Entry Facility on Forum Drive.

Gary Baird has been a sheriff's deputy for 20 years. He's being promoted to lieutenant in Operations Records.

Eddie Thomas is a 20-year sheriff's office veteran. He'll be promoted to sergeant in Judicial Services.

Felix Thomas will be promoted to sergeant in Crime Scene Investigations. He's been with the sheriff's office for 23 years.

Also being recognized at tomorrow's ceremony is Deputy Lonney Smalley. He'll receive the department's Lifesaving Award for his response to a call involving a man threatening to jump from the I-20 overpass.

The following employees will be recognized for their years of service. Treserla Gladney and Crystal Tasby, five years. Brittany Chenevert, 10 years. Erma Edwards-Cowthorn, Dexter White, Penny Menard and D.E. Stevens, 15 years. Janet Sowell, Rodney Spikes, Jeff Thomas, Jacqueline Winston, Ricky York Sr., Darin Marshall, Joseph Gladney, Darrell Smith, Ada Edwards and Yolanda Williams, 20 years. Don Gibbs, 25 years. Mike Middleton, 35 years.
