The "Cajun Navy" is in flooded Southeastern Texas where they're fighting more than just rising waters. They're now facing the panicking public. In an interview with HLN leaders report that they've been shot at and even had a boat stolen by people trying to evacuate. Rescuers are hiding in nearby FedEx trucks to get away from the people shooting after they weren't able to pick up everyone at once. The boat they were using broke down during the altercation.

The "Cajun Navy" was first organized over 10 years ago back in New Orleans during Katrina to help with Aid. The volunteer group left for the Houston area earlier today but are now facing a situation they weren't prepared for.

So far it doesn't appear anyone has been shot. They've had to stop rescues for the time being to get their own out of there.
