January 16, 2013 Set sail with the Titanic this Friday at SciPort! This event sounds like a ton of fun! You can sip Gin and Ti-Tonics and listen to a string quartet while viewing authentic artifacts from the Titanic on exhibit.
January 15, 2013 Townsquare Media Shreveport Bossier hosted its job fair at Pierre-Bossier Mall in Bossier City for people looking to find employment. Companies from all over the Ark-La-Tex were on hand -- everyone from Walmart to Horseshoe Casino to Career Technical College were there looking for qualified individuals to hire.
There were some serious red carpet clunkers at the 2013 Golden Globes. The dresses that were bad were ... really bad. There was nothing middling or "ho hum" about this selection of dumpy dresses, failure frocks and groan-inducing gowns.
It's a shame, since all of the ladies on this list are beauties in their own right. But boy did they choose the wrong dresses for this event.

January 8, 2013 Yesterday, I had the distinct pleasure of getting to talk to Lindsay Dean from Susan G. Komen. She has a crazy long title, but in a nut shell she's a driving force with Susan G. Komen in our area.
The group has found a way to meet the needs of teens who would like to go to prom, but can't afford formal attire while also raising money for Susan G. Komen.
January 7, 2013 Can I just say that 12th Night was amazing! Talk about a fitting kick off to the 2013 Mardi Gras season.
