CBS Fires High Ranking Executive For Insensitive Remarks About Vegas Victims

In a more in depth story from Fox News, it's being reported that CBS has terminated one of their top company lawyers after her Facebook post that she was "actually not even sympathetic bc (sic) country music fans are often Republican gun toters."

Hayley Geftman-Gold, CBS former VP and top legal counsel, has since deleted the message first captured by "The Daily Caller", “If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing."

CBS spoke with Fox News and made the following statement:

“This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families,” a CBS spokeswoman told Fox News.
