Who's ready to boogie?

It's a holiday that was started by Nigel Lythgoe of So You Think You Can Dance. It's National Dance Day and it's making its return to Shreveport-Bossier on Saturday, July 30. To celebrate Louisiana Dance Collective is once again teaming up with the Shreveport Times and the Arts, Culture, Entertainment section (ACE? for Dancing in the Street!

It will be a day of getting down in downtown Shreveport.

The fun will begin at 2 p.m. and won't stop until 8 p.m. in the Red River Entertainment District underneath the Texas Street Bridge. Local dance groups, including Louisiana Dance Collective, will be leading you in some fabulous choreographed routines. It's free and fun for all ages!

Those over the age of 21 are invited to attend the after party at Fatty Arbuckles and Aura Ultra Lounge.
