‘Chicago Fire’ Actress Dies In Freak Accident

Molly Glynn, who played a recurring role as a doctor on the TV series "Chicago Fire" was killed over the weekend when a tree struck her during a powerful thunderstorm while she was riding her bike.

Glynn and her husband, Joe Foust, decided to go for a bike ride Friday when the storm struck suddenly, knocking over a tree which struck Glynn as the two attempted to ride to safety.

"It was a freak accident and a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time," he said.

Glynn, a native of Hartford, CT, is survived by her husband and two teenaged sons.
