It’s official! Chris Brown is atop the U.K. singles chart for the first time in his career. The R&B crooner’s bouncy club jam ‘Turn Up the Music’ reached the apex this week, according to Official Charts Company. The song dethroned Katy Perry‘s reign with her single ‘Part of Me,’ which slipped from No. 1 to No. 4.

Brown hasn’t been this close to a No. 1 U.K. single since climbing to the No. 2 spot with ‘Run It’ back in 2006. ‘Turn Up the Music’ is expected to appear on Brown’s new album ‘Fortune,’ due out May 8.

Meanwhile, Breezy decided to treat himself to a new toy. The Grammy Award-winning artist was spotted on Monday at a Land Rover dealership in California copping a new black Range Rover. Shutterbugs snapped away as Brown was handed the keys to his $80,000-plus vehicle.

After car shopping, Brown, who was dressed in all-denim, drove to a massage parlor for some much-needed pampering. Hey, it’s tough being a No. 1 R&B singer who posts pictures of himself all day on Twitter. Just kidding!

By the way, Brown recently dropped two new singles, ‘Oh Yeah!’ and ‘See Through,’ for your listening pleasures.

Congrats to Mr. Brown on securing his first No. 1 U.K. single!
