Chris Brown Investigated For Battery Against Woman In Las Vegas

Singer Chris Brown is being investigated by Las Vegas police in connection with an incident in which a woman claims the singer assaulted her and took her cellphone during an altercation at a party in a hotel room.

Police say that they were notified about a battery report that allegedly occurred in a suite at the Palms Casino Resort. Upon arrival, officers encountered a woman who "appeared to have minor injuries sustained as a result of a battery." An investigation revealed that during the party an altercation ensued after the woman attempted to take a picture of brown with her cellphone.

Brown has denied the accusations, calling the woman's allegations "completely false".
