Chris Brown Served With Karrueche’s Restraining Order

Chris Brown received an unexpected birthday gift from ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, in the form of a restraining order

Tran initially filed the paperwork for the order back in February, alleging that Brown “told a few people that he was going to kill me.” Tran said that Brown told those people if he can’t have her, then nobody else can, and threatened to “take [her] out” and “threatened to shoot [her].” She also made other claims of physical abuse that allegedly occurred during the times they were dating.

Last month, a court hearing was held on the matter, with Tran hoping to make the order permanent. Her attempts seem to have been successful, as CB was physically served with legal papers notifying him of the order on Thursday night (May 4).

The Virginia crooner was celebrating his born day at Grooves nightclub in Houston. TMZ cameras caught him leaving the venue with his entourage, when a server reached through the crowd and handed him the paperwork right as he was about to hop in his ride.

Karrueche has clearly moved on and was recently spotted getting close with Quavo of the Migos, leading rumors to circulate that they are now an item, despite Brown's disapproval.

Brown is in H-Town for his Party Tour, which has 11 remaining stops. In other music-related news, the singer just revealed the tracklist for his upcoming double-album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, and it's massive.
