Comedian Chris Rock took some time out during a visit to NBC's "Today" show to take some verbal jabs at singer Chris Brown.

It all started when "Today" host Matt Lauer came out of a commercial break and remarked, "We're hoping the same kind of weather hits us tomorrow when we've got Chris Brown out on the plaza," prompting Rock to respond, "Did you say you hope the same weather hits you? I hope some weather doesn't smack us upside the head."

As "Today" weatherman Al Roker laughed uncomfortably, "Sesame Street"'s Elmo, who was there to talk about the upcoming Summer Olympics, piped in by saying he'd try to "make it wholesome."

Add that to the many responses to Brown's recent activities, from his Grammy performance and win to his recent collaborations with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, whom Brown was convicted of assaulting in 2009.
