“Colbert Report” Returns

According to Stephen Colbert, "The Colbert Report" is set to return with new episodes Monday.

Production was abruptly halted Wednesday with no official explanation, forcing the show to go into reruns Wednesday and Thursday. It was reported, but not confirmed, that Colbert flew off to care for his ailing mother.

He tweeted, "My family and I would like to thank everyone who has offered their thoughts and prayers. We are grateful and touched by your concern."
