Coldplay have finalized their 2012 North American tour, adding dance-pop singer Robyn as one of their opening acts, in addition to lining up performances on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ this weekend following the Oscars and at the Amnesty International Secret Policeman’s Ball one week later in New York City.

In a press release, the group released its complete list of 36 concert dates throughout the U.S. and Canada, starting April 17 in Edmonton and continuing through August 11 in St. Paul, Minn. A number of new dates have been added since the initial tour announcement in December. Robyn will perform at the shows from June 22 through July 9. Other openers on the tour include Metronomy and Marina & the Diamonds.

This Sunday, Coldplay will appear on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards,’ a television special airing on ABC following completion of the Oscars, where they will perform their latest single, ‘Charlie Brown,’ on Kimmel’s stage.

On March 2, Coldplay will play three songs on ‘Good Morning America,’ and then on March 4 they will appear at the Secret Policeman’s Ball at Radio City Music Hall, alongside comedians Jon Stewart, Kristen Wiig, Stephen Colbert and Russell Brand.
