Cole Vosbury Appears on ‘Today’ Show, Says He’s Happy With How Far He Made It on ‘The Voice’
Talking to Today show's Al Roker, Vosbury called his elimination "bittersweet," but added: "I'm really happy with as far as I made it. I never imagined to make it this far. To make it to the top 5, I'm really proud of that."
Vosbury also explained that his experience on 'The Voice' has changed his life "immensely." Since his successful blind audition, Vosbury's popularity has skyrocketed -- and not only in his hometown of Shreveport.
"When my blind audition aired, I had six Twitter followers and I now have 52,000," he noted. "I wanted to build a fanbase and get my name out there, and that's what I've done."
Roker mentioned how Vosbury's elimination also ended 'The Voice' captain Blake Shelton's dominance on the show. The country star has dominated recent seasons, winning the past three years.
Vosbury admitted he did feel some pressure being the last remaining Team Blake member on the show, but moved past it.
The Voice's finale airs Dec. 16-17 on NBC. You can watch the full interview with Cole Vosbury on Today below.
