Comedian John Crist Nails the Struggle of Family Christmas Photos on the Head [VIDEO]

Sure, you look happy in the photo, but the process was less than stellar.

We didn't do too many family photos when I was a kid. Wait. That's a lie. We did a ton of family photos when I was young. I remember one photo where we were all sitting on a log in our jeans and flannel shirts. All I wanted to do was hold our cat, but my mom was afraid the cat would run away and ruin the picture. So, in the end result, I'm sitting dangerously close to my mom in the hopes of our cat Tabby sneaking over into my lap instead.

My eyes are also red, since every photo ended up with me in a crying fit of rage.

We all know these struggles. That's why I couldn't stop laughing at this video that comedian John Crist made. He completely nailed the whole concept of family Christmas photos on the head. Like taking a photo in front of a barn when your family couldn't be more city if they were a pack of street rats running the subway platforms in New York. My favorite line comes at the :37 mark.
