A date and a roastmaster have been announced for Comedy Central's upcoming roast of Justin Bieber.

The roast will be taped on March 14 and is scheduled to air March 30, with comedian Kevin Hart as roastmaster.

"I don't normally do roasts, but I had to step out for my guy Biebs," Hart said in a statement. "It's his big 21. It's about to be operation roast everyone's ass."

Kent Alterman, president of content development and original programming for Comedy Central, also issued a statement which said, "They say only a good friend would verbally eviscerate another good friend for all his vulnerabilities. Kevin Hart is a very good friend."

This will be Comedy Central's first roast since James Franco in September 2013, which drew 3.1 million viewers. Other past "honorees" include Joan Rivers, Donald Trump, Bob Saget and Roseanne Barr.
