Comedy Is Still Alive in Shreveport/Bossier City!

We might not have a real comedy club here in the Shreveport Bossier City area, but that does not mean support for the comedy community has stopped. Kevin Hart recently sold out three shows in a weekend and more top level comedians have been here but I am not talking about them. I am talking about the local support for rising local comedians.  Within the past two months I've seen comedy shows at Parish Taceaux, and Port Gill.  I will be attending a show next Monday at Bear's.

Two of the people we've seen leading the push for more laughs in the SBC are Tony Tamaccio and Molly Hiers who are putting on the show at Bear's. Monday, July 23rd is Sink Or Swim Comedy at Bear's with your chance to give comedy a try in an open mic comedy show starting at 9pm. Anyone looking to take the mic must be there by 8:30 to sign up for their 5 mins on stage.
