LLWCF Announces 2012 Women of Excellence Awards Nominees
Baton Rouge – The Louisiana Legislative Women's Caucus through the Louisiana Legislative Women’s Caucus Foundation is pleased to announce the nominees for its 2012 Women of Excellence Awards.
The awards recognize and honor the exemplary achievements and contributions of extraordinary Louisiana women who personify excellence in their leadership, profession, academics, community service, character and integrity. The categories for the awards are:
Business
College Woman of Excellence (ages 18 to 25)
Education & Research
Government & Law
High School Woman of Excellence (for graduating seniors)
Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM)
Volunteerism
The winners of the High School Woman of Excellence Award and the College Woman of Excellence Award will each receive a scholarship for $1,000.

Marriott.
