A random act of kindness can make a difference.

Rosenberg, TX police officer Ariel Soltura noticed 10-year-old Jermaine Ford playing football by himself while on patrol Saturday. He then decided to take a couple of minutes to toss the ball back and forth with the boy. The scene was caught on the dash cam on Soltura's police car.

Soltura told Houston TV station KTRK that he knew the boy wasn't waiting for other kids to come around and knew that a quick game could make a difference. "It's important because we all live in this world together," said Soltura. "We all make an impact in this world and make it a better place."
