Damage Reports Flow in After Storms

Cleanup will be the order of the day today as residents can get a closer look during daylight hours.

Shreveport Mayor Ollie Tyler tells KEEL News she worked through the night with her staff to respond to the crisis. The Mayor took shelter in her southwest Shreveport home. She says "I was on both my cell phones collaborating with staff while in an inner bathroom in my home".

The Desoto Parish Sheriffs Office is also helping clear roadways and reminds motorists not to attempt to drive through high water.
