Funeral services for "Sopranos" star James Gandolfini will be held at Manhattan's Saint John the Divine cathedral, HBO announced Sunday.

The announcement reads: "We can confirm, on behalf of the Gandolfini Family, that the funeral service for James Gandolfini will be held Thursday, June 27th. The service will be held at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in Manhattan."

A spokesman for the Gandolfini family said that the actor's body will arrive in the United States Monday, and thanked the governments of the United States and Italy for speeding up a process that would usually take up to a week.

Gandolfini's sudden death last week at the age of 51 sent shock waves throughout the entertainment industry and his many fans.
