Deborah Messing Credits Weight Loss to One Simple Solution
Deborah Messing has never been anything less than stunning, but she is glowing after losing 20 pounds. She says it took one simple step.
Deborah Messing told ABC News that she has recently lost more than 20 pounds and it was all due to a new approach toward nutrition. The “Will & Grace” star said she made an effort to eat better a few years ago and it’s paid off.
Messing, 45, says weight loss was not her goal. Instead, she wanted to eat better for her own health. She went on to say that she was feeling tired most of the time, which she always had credited to her hectic life. It wasn’t until she changed her diet that she felt a change.
Junk food has always been a part of Messing’s life, even as a child. “Pizza and french fries and burgers… Vegetables were not a part of my life,” she told ABC.Now it’s a different story.
Each morning Messing begins with a green juice made with kale, spinach, celery, ginger, lemon and cucumber. She drinks it for the vitamins and it gives her the energy she needs for her 15-17 hour days.
Messing just finished filming the pilot for a new show “The Mysteries of Laura.”
