Just 24 hours after Demi Lovato vowed to permanently quit Twitter and Instagram, she was back at it, wasting no time before launching into an unprovoked rant about how little the average American knows about global issues in comparison to celebrity news (??).

"The world is weird," she started. "I bet our country knows more about celebrities than they know about what's happening over seas or global warming. We complain about how unfair paparazzi and tabloid rumors are but still buy the magazines to find out who's f---ing who and who wore it best."

Demi then attempted to drive the point home by posting a poll that asked fans if they could "name someone on the FBI's top 10 most wanted list," which she seems to equate with global warming as something most people should be aware of. As of right now, the final option ("Can name all of Bieber's exes") is leading with 40%.

She continued, asking her Twitter followers, "Is it our fault though? Has society fed into it or is this just easy business with everyone from blogs to magazines trying to cash in? Who's [sic] fault is it that teens can name more celebrity feuds than wars?"

Check out all of Demi's tweets below and then let us know: Can you name someone on the FBI's Most Wanted List? Do you know who all of Justin Bieber's exes are? Can you name all the wars? Is our society doomed to care more about celebrity news than global warming? Let us know in the comments below.
