Dez Duron and Cody Belew Create Rivalry for Arkansas and Louisiana on NBC’s ‘The Voice’

Louisiana and Arkansas will face-off in a head-to-head as Team XTina featuring Shreveport's own, Dez Duron, will take on Team CeeLo featuring Little Rock, Arkansas's Cody Belew, next week on NBC's 'The Voice'.

As the Knockouts round came to a close Thursday night, the final selections for Team Adam and Team CeeLo made for tough decisions for both judges. The top 20 contestants are now preparing for the most brutal of battles next week in the Live Playoffs beginning on Monday night at 8/7c on NBC.

Local Native and Favorite, Dez Duron, who secured his spot on Wednesday night's elimination knockout, performed Lionel Richie's "Stuck On You." He is now preparing his performance as anticipation mounts for the singer, his family and his many fans, for the next round for Team XTina.

Dez has had an amazing record up until this point, charming the audience and his coach with his stage presence and amazing voice. Will he take Team XTina to the top for the win? Who knows...

Cody Belew, performed his rendition of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" to secure his spot on Team CeeLo going into next week's playoffs. "Jolene" has already reached #63 on iTunes and is still climbing. Will he and Team CeeLo beat out the Shreveport favorite?  You can view Cody Belew's Performance Here.

The second night of Knockout performances kicked off with Team Adam's selections which included a win by Jocelyn Rivera over Kayla Navarez, Bryan Keith over Joe Kirkland, Amanda Brown over Michelle Brooks-Thompson, Loren Allred over Nicole Nelson, and Melanie Martinez over Sam James.

Team CeeLo's elimination round resulted in victories for Cody Belew over  dancer/singer Avery Wilson, McKenzie Bourg over Daniel Rosa, Trevin Hunte over Terisa Griffin, Nicholas David over Mycle Wastman, and Diego Val over Caitlin Michele wrapping up round one of the elimination knockouts.
