Dick Clark Passed Away At The Age Of 82

Dick Clark passed away at the age of 82 of a massive heart attack. The man who created New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and hosted American Band stand died in Santa Monica on Wednesday. In 2004, he suffered a major stroke and subsequently handed over the reigns of his New Year’s Eve show to Ryan Seacrest.

Clark, who has been married three times, is survived by his current wife, Kari Wigton, as well as his three children.
