Did Cam Newton Troll Peyton Manning In His Instagram Post?

Today, the NFL said goodbye to one of the great quarterbacks of all time. Peyton Manning fittingly retired after eighteen years in the league.

Of course players, coaches, and fans have been posting all day on social media showing the Sheriff love on his big day. Cam Newton was one of those posting a touching farewell to the legend. At least that's what it appeared to be on first sight.

However, after reading his caption a few times, it appears he may be throwing major shade at Manning.

Manning has been accused of HGH usage over the past few months. The QB denies the reports and the NFL have found no proof that he actually used the banned substance, but it appears as though Newton threw a few HGH jabs at him.

In his caption, he wrote that Peyton, "set the bar H1GH....extremely H1GH".

Was this a jab at the Sheriff or just a coincidence?
